Introduction

Sigaram Educational and Charitable Trust Skill Development program provides youth with a wide range of unique skill building experiences including leadership, social, communication, computers, and basic life skills.

The Short-term training program is given in Apparel Sector to the youth of age group of 18 to 45 years. Post completion of the training program, the dedicated employment team ensures that the candidates gets the job in the various Textile Units and also enable them for Self-Employment . Furthermore, to extend the scope of employment opportunities regular job mapping activity is performed at center level to
increase hiring partner support system and explore new job opportunities.

Sigaram Skill Foundation is working in collaboration with NSDC , the SSCs and the State , Central Government schemes has consultative status at the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship to push for ethical standards in skilling , to provide feedback on youth interests , aspirations on skill programs and to reach out to provide necessary skills to thousands of youths across PAN India.

The Institute’s unique training approach is well designed for delivering the Industry demanding , employment linked suitable skill training with Speed , Scale , and Standards . Sigaram Skill Foundation is one among the most crucial partners for the Government’s flagship scheme of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra ( PMKVY ) and DDU – GKY.

Objective of Skill Development Projects

The main objective of Sigaram Skill Foundation in to the Education Industry is to provide adequate training in market – relevant skills to many un – employed youths in India . Training at JET Skills ensures holistic development of trainees . In addition to technical skills , training at JET Skills also focuses on other dimensions of skill building , such as – numerical ability , science , basic IT , industry orientation , communication , soft skills & personality development , and work ethics , and places special emphasis on Safety , Health & Environment ( SHE ) considering the sector’s specific need.

We strongly believe that the future training comprise skills , abilities , and learning dispositions that have been identified as being required for success in future . This is part of a growing international movement focusing on the skills required for students to master in preparation for success in a rapidly changing , digital society . Many of these skills are also associated with deeper learning , which is based on mastering skills such as analytic reasoning , complex problem solving , and teamwork . These skills differ from traditional academic skills in that they are not primarily content knowledge – based .
